Какой она стала? Почему продолжает работать, хотя раньше без Плетения маг не мог получить доступ к сырой энергии? Даже Теневое Плетение было лишь проводником, но не истоником!
И почему на всех магов Королевств так сильно повлияло разрушение Плетения, а шейдов практически не затронуло? Прихоть разработчиков?

Ведь раньше как было? В зоне мертвой магии никакие заклинания не работали - не было проводника. Теперь же весь Абейр -торил стал глобальной зоной мертвой магии! Так почему она работает? Какие способы изобрели маги, чтобы творить заклинания?

THE WEAVE
For eons, magic in Toril was focused through the Weave,
controlled by the goddess Mystra. Although Netherese
wizards of ancient days learned the truth, most people
believed that magic would not be possible without the
deity’s existence. However, the death of Mystra gave the
lie to that belief. Now the term “Weave” is just another
name for magic, if it is used at all.

THE SHADOW WEAVE
Just as Mystra controlled the Weave, the goddess Shar created
and maintained the Shadow Weave as an alternative
conduit to magic. Not satisfied with her portion, Shar plotted
to seize control of both when Cyric murdered Mystra.
She miscalculated. The Weave collapsed so completely
that Shar not only failed to gather up its fraying threads,
she also lost control over the Shadow Weave.
Just as magic persists without Mystra, so does the
power of shadow endure without Shar’s intercession.
Powerful necromancers have developed their own
unique methods for harnessing the dark energy of the
Shadowfell.


Что до моих мыслей, ну раньше артефакты пробивали зону антимагии и зону мертвой магии. Народ просто научился по другому использовать магию, ну и магия мутировала сама по себе.
Да и если вернуться к Тайм оф Трабл и Дон Катаклизму, то очередная мутация магии не в первый и даже не во второй раз идет.
