Думаю, что для обложки лучше всего подойдет слово "каноничная". Чем-то таким знакомым веет...

По-моему тип исключительно колоритный. Покупать меч у умирающей матери, гм. Интересно.

И вот этот момент хорош - "Вандерджека нельзя назвать ни добрым, ни злым. Он просто жадный".
А вообще, радует возрождение Мостов Времени (Bridges of Time) - там и изначальная задумка была очень неплоха, и новая реинкарнация лично меня тоже немало заинтересовала. Плюс если это все еще и будет Трэйси курировать, так вообще замечательно - благо старый черт толк во временных парадоксах знает, и в сеттинге разбирается не в пример лучше Маргарет. Да и Anvil of Time именно он в свое время прописывал...

RENTON, Wash.—July 21, 2008 — Wizards of the Coast Inc., and New York Times Best-selling authors Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman today announced that Dragons of the Hourglass Mage is scheduled for a Summer 2009 publication.

Dragons of the Hourglass Mage is the concluding novel in the Lost Chronicles trilogy by Weis and Hickman and features many of the most popular characters from their extensive line of Dragonlance® books.
